A low level walk through Rydall Hall along the coffin route to Grasmere Village. A nice diversion up to Alcock Tarn can be done before reaching Dove cottage but this is not described in this walk.
Enjoy Grasmere village and a nice detour up to the secluded Easedale Tarn.
Walk around Grasmere Lake shores, along Loughrigg Terrace over looking Rydall Water and return to Ambleside.
No precipitous heights, climbs gently along the coffin route.
