This walk starts in the small village of Llanarmon Dyffryn Ceiriog where The Hand Hotel and The West Arms provide nice, if pricey refreshements. By the end of the walk refreshments are going to be welcome; whilst the terrain is mainly a mixture of farm tracks, quiet country roads and well defined paths there are several steep inclines that will give you a good workout. In winter or or after heavy rain the trails can become boggy and certain sections quiet slippy - good footwear is recommended!
Expect lovely views of rolling valleys, good exercise and a reasonable chance of not seeing another soul.
